As the owner and founder of Kreger Law Firm and Kreger Realty, I take the work we do here seriously. I believe we offer unique assistance to our clients by handling multiple professional services in one place. We strive to help people not only with their legal needs, but also with their real estate, property management, mediation and dispute resolution needs. But our main goals are easy communication between attorneys and clients, high quality professional work done quickly and efficiently, and especially in successful outcomes for our clients.

After graduating from college, I worked for four years as a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance in Raleigh, North Carolina. While at Progressive, I saw how often the lack of good representation harmed people in their fight against large corporations. This experience led me to go to night law school while continuing my work in the insurance field. Upon graduating with highest honors from law school, I worked briefly for Mayer Brown, LLP, a large Chicago-based law firm, doing finance and real estate legal work. I quickly realized that banking and finance work was not fulfilling my desire for working directly with clients who needed immediate and personalized help. So in 2010, I started my own law firm in Durham, North Carolina in an effort to use my experience in the insurance, banking, and real estate fields to support my clients to the best of my ability. In 2018, I expanded our services to include Kreger Realty, which offers real estate and property management servicesto our clients.

I now work both as a realtor and an attorney. As a realtor, I focus on sales, investments, and property management. As an attorney, I work primarily in civil litigation, including representing clients in a variety of civil disputes including personal injury, vehicle accidents, and workplace injuries. Often these fields intersect when my real estate clients face legal disputes, or my legal clients face life changes such as buying or selling a house.

While not working at my law firm, I like to stay busy. As a former NCAA All-American long distance runner, I try to keep in shape by running as much as I can. If you happen to be in the Woodcroft area, you might see me running the local trails. With four little kids at home, however, I don’t have the energy for running that I once had. Most of that energy gets used up swimming, biking, hiking, and playing sports with the kids, or just keeping the kids clean, fed, and generally well-behaved. If I am lucky and get a quiet night out with my wife, we are usually exploring the amazing new restaurants that Durham has to offer.
